La Jolla, Calif.-based Fulcrum, a job-placement firm for technical tasks, has raised $1 million in a seed spherical of funding, led by native know-how funding agency Greatscale Ventures with participation from a number of personal co-investors, the corporate mentioned.

The firm has what it calls a totally compliant service for hiring freelancers onto technical tasks that had beforehand solely been the purview of full-time staffers — or work that may have been outsourced to dear consulting corporations.

Fulcrum says that its job-placement platform meets the regulatory necessities in 90 international locations and is designed to provide companies the power to design, handle and execute tasks on demand.
